Variety is indeed the spice of life, as this memoir in rhyme illustrates.  Some is derived from "word of mouth" tales of bygone eras, but most of the memories are from the author's own experience, growing up on cotton farms during the depression; marriage and family; retirement and widowhood.

The Good Old Days
covers the years from birth to eighteen,
plus a little earlier family history.

The Spice of Life
begins with the romance and marriage of
Harold and Cora Gail
and ends with their retirement.

Philosophy and Phoolishness
pretty much what the title suggests,
ramblings of a crazy old lady.

Mountain Musings
covers the retirement years in the
Sandia Mountains of New Mexico.

Diary of an Adventure
deals with the months of treatment for
lung cancer, and eventual death of the author's spouse.

Blessed are the Peacemakers
an account of surviving and thriving in a
bipolar world, a marriage lasting 47 years,
and dealing with the death of a beloved husband.

Biblical Poems
based on sermons by Lane Brown,
whose lessons can be heard on:
www.strengthfortoday.net

New Stuff
will be added as written, and eventually
be moved to its proper location.

Son of a Gunn
brother Walter's memoirs
